Hello,
I vaguely recal a poem that I would love to identify. It included something like this.......
"mold me, make me and turn me forth sufficiently impressed"
and it was a poem about God forming us as we submit to Him.
Can you help me? Thank you so much!
Kelly
I think I know the one you mean, but I can't get the words until I'm in church with a hymn book at the weekend.
Remembered enough to find it on line.
SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD,
Fall afresh on me;
Spirit of the living God,
Fall afresh on me.
Break me, melt me, mould me, fill me.
Spirit of the living God,
Fall afresh on me.
If that isn't it, the whole quote sounds a lot like George Herbert (1593-1633)- you could try looking at his poetry
