A sudden snap

Does anyone know this poem? What's its title, author and when was it written? Anyone? Anyone??

A sudden snap: the tension peaks and falls
And he free-falls, a kinetic explosion,
Swaying end to end the slope revoles
And he from side to side is downward driven.

Two more stanzas follow.
Ideas?

I would search the source from which you cited it. If it is from a class at school, or university, ask the instructor?

I haven't found it by looking for phrases ... and I didn't find it by looking at sky-diving websites...

But there are a lot of sky-diving poems and the owner of this site collects them, so he/she might know what yours is:

Here's one that I found while searching, and it appealed to me:

"For the Birthday of a Friend"

...And as each April's
rebirth brings you nearer
freedom, and freedom's burden
blooms larger, you will fall
to the sky. And as you soar,
sing!
