epitaph

I have searched for an epitaph for a long time. It is dedicated to a girl who has died of a broken heart. Years later, a boy who has broken her heart visits her grave with regret and tries to offer roses to her.

I have read this in the Japanese translation. I have no idea of the original poem in English. If my memory serves correctly, the title is "Epitaph." It means as follows:

"Do not bring roses to the poor girl. who has been at peaceful rest.
Why are you now disturbing her with the roses you offer?......."

I would appreciate any clues to find the original poem.
