I have to briefly explain what makes the following poems so great:

Keep A Tranquil Mind - Horace
The Hollow Men - T.S. Eliot
Patience Taught By Nature - Elizabeth Barrett Browning
Not Quite Dark Yet - Yosa Buson

Out of 10, I only need help with 4, so any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

My suggestion would be to start with yourself first. Decide what makes a poem "great". What is your criteria for greatness? Make a list. Then make a list of other poems that, by your criteria, are great.

Now you can "attack" the poems given by your teacher. Decide which ones meet your criteria for greatness and explain why.

You will finish this assignment before you know it.
