Dudda, none immediately come to mind, but here's a link to famous quotations about practically anything.

A couple of suggestions for attacking this assignment.

1. Type in a word like "truth" into the search box at bartleby, or do a google search for "truth" quotations.

2. Pick a famous person, such as "Benjamin Franklin" and type in his name into the search box.

Here's another quotations page, I began the search with the word "honor".

My favourites change all the time - present favourites are:

In an undeveloped country, don't drink the water
In a developed country, don't breathe the air. (unattributed)

The whole problem with people is, they know what matters but they don't choose it. - Sue Monk Kidd 'The Secret Life of Bees'

Dogs feel very strongly that they should always go with you in the car, in case the need should arise for them to bark violently at nothing right in your ear - Dave Barry

If men do not keep on speaking terms with children, they cease to be men, and become merely machines for eating and for earning money - John Updike - A Foreword for Younger Readers

There are places in the heart which do not exist yet; and into them, suffering enters, that they may have existence - Leon Bloy (French Author). (I'm sure this one must be a translation and that there is a more elegant and comprehensible way of putting it, but I get the gist )

Don''t know if there is anything there you could use.

Churchill's remark- which is in the introduction to the Oxford Dictionary of Quotations- "It is a good thing for an uneducated man to read books of quotations." seems most appropriate here.

Sadly and truthfully? A cartoon called invader Zim, in the first episode, "The Nightmare Begins", Zim say's "Invader's blood marches through my veins like giant radioactive rubber pants. The pants command me! Do not ignore my veins!" Yeah, I quote that all the time...and everyone wonders what the heck I am talking about.
