What Contemporary Poets say poetry is...

I have an assignment due in a couple of days and I didn't know if anybody could help. I need a definition of a definition of poetry by a contemporary(or even an older poet would work too). I have searched the web for a couple of days and can't really find one that I personally agree with. If anybody has any Ideas where I can find anything that would b a huge help!
