Which part of In Flander's Fields is the RESPONSE, my teacher assigned me to type it out WITHOUT the response.

Here's the poem:

In Flanders Fields

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

I am writing a story and would like to use a line or two of this poem, not the whole thing. Do I need a permission to do that??
The story is in reference to my husband who was a WWII veteran.

I am not a student. I am 77 years old and this is a poem I had to learn when I was in school many, many years ago.

A couple of lines would come under 'fair use' policies, so you should be fine. Just cite the author/title.
