overcoming an issue

Hello again. Yes, this is concerning my English essay that I must do for my final, but now I finally have more idea of what I'm going to do.

I was wondering is anyone here knew of any British poems that deal with the idea of overcoming an issue. An example is something like the song "Blackbird" by The Beatles (which is one of 3 "poems" I'm going to be using for this project).

I appreciate your help. Thank you. :)

Here's a couple very diverse:

I'm assuming that by overcoming an "issue", you mean overcoming an obstacle.

Thanks for the poems, just what I'm looking for.

And yes, by "issue" I meant obstacle. I said issue instead because at the time I was typing the message I couldn't figure how to spell it and didn't want to seem like too much of an idiot.

I shall wear purple. It's a liberating feeling just to read it.

I'm searching for the title and author of a poem that includes these lines:

A young Diana golden haired,
Stands dreaming on the verge of strife,
Magnificently unprepared.
For the long littleness of life.

thanks.
