This is the second in the Anthology series, featuring the southern gentleman, John Summers. If you have not been long at e-mule, it will do your heart some good to go back and read some of his poetry. Of all the people here at the mule, a kinder more considerate person you will not find.

Always a cool idea Les!

Les,
Thanks so much for grouping all my poetry together in one place. This will make it easier for me to edit some of them. I retire now to my rocking chair on the front porch to sip lemonade and to work on my manners. Thank you again.

John, I noticed in my search that you have a couple of poems that were posted in the General Discussion forum, something about a cat, for instance. If you want I can dig them up and post them here.
Also, any suggestions as to which other e-mule poets should be included in these anthologies. I have already decided on Jack, Terry, LON. Any others you would like to see?
Les
Les,
The cat poem is "The Little Cat." Another you could add is "Snow Job," from Bob's first poetry contest.
Other favorites of mine that you might consider are Ell and Wicked, though the styles are different, both are very good as to their approach to writing.
And don't forget my favorite retired school teacher. I know there are others, but it is an awful lot of work.

Thanks for the response, John, one I hadn't mentioned before is Kellygirl. I think a lot of people would enjoy reading her work. Like I said before, if the good Lord's willing and the creek don't rise I will get to as many as I can this summer.
Wow Les, you amaze me more and more!! I wonder and really am curious as to your motivation? ! When will your turn come?
Am enjoying rereading these Les and John. Not just the poems, but the responses. We have had fun, haven't we. I love this site.
Thanks again Les.

K. Q., I too am on my list. I'll get around to it eventually, but with over 20,000 entries on this board it's going to take some time to sift through all my posts.
Les
Les, don't bother, it's taken care of. And thanks again for the invaluable effort. You can't fly an airplane without first taking some lessons, and the Anthologies provide the coursework for our instruction.

Les,
I hate to bother you with this, you've done so much already, but could you add Stone Flowers to this list? Many thanks.
john
No problem, John, I hope everyone has a chance to scan the entries to make sure the list is correct. Once they're here, it's easy to post another one.
