To a Cowboy

This isn't much of a pome, just wanted you to know that we are still praying for you. "More things are wrought by prayer, than this world dreams of"

JP

There’s a place far away
To the west of the sun,
Where the land is all dry,
And the rattlesnakes run,
Where the heart of a man
Braves the hardships he fights,
And his spirit shows through
In the words that he writes.
We’re proud of you pardner,
For you never complain
When the going gets tough,
And the clouds pour down rain.
We’re hoping and praying,
Especially for you,
When all this is over,
There’s a rainbow shines through.

Well, not only that, but the dust blows here a lot. Like while I was reading this got a bunch of that ol' dust in my eyes. Made them water some.

Thank you.

A very nice tribute, JP. I'm always surprised at how genuinely concerned the members of this forum are with each other. It makes me feel good about the time I spend here.

Hang in there, Terry, we're all pulling for your complete recovery and your unusually fine pomes.

Les

Nice to see JP's words again... personal attachment to this one of course.

Last bout was a nonconvenience. Very minor surgery and got another cancer free letter.

Touch base with her every twice in a fortnight. Still our JP,,
