isolation isn't all bad, peter. sometimes its the happiest thing possible. depends on how long the lonliness has been around.

I'm focusing a lot lately of the communal nature of what it is to be a human being. I am actually aware the we also function, though in other ways, in isolation.
the delusions and illusions that grow specifically from not testing one's vision against other perspectives are the monsters this poem acknowledges.

Peter, living alone in no way equates with loneliness. I've heard alcoholics and other substance abusers say that they often feel alone in a crowded room. Many people suffering from depression, say the same thing. Well adjusted people feel comfortable whether they're alone, or in a crowd.
Listening to other people's perspective I believe is crucial to forming a valid point of view on practically any topic. It does after all take two to tango.
