i feel i must ask....were you recently arrested? ha, im kidding, but i still must ask your inspiration for writing this as a haiku instead of your more usual versed style.

I decided that it must be a haiku since it has seventeen syllables to it, since that seems to be everybody else criterion, just as an inside joke....as the gruel is a pun on pudding, since they give you that watery stuff in prison more often than anything with real substance, and no not recently, Fickledlife, but once they have thrown you in you never really are out, just like a visit to hell, but, finally, the poem implies logically that I have not been in prison recently enough for it to count.
