Honest. (love poetry completed)

I dont understand love poetry most of the time...

Its just that i cant sympathize.

Speaking of their wives,

husbands... Long days together..

memories 'from all those years ago'.

Its so sentimental...

.

So elegantly peaceful.

I cannot relate.

I understand, feel,

only when its a lost love...

when the love is at first site...

Or when its a one-sided love.

When they attempt to describe

unfathomable beauty that doesnt notice them...

When their love is unfulfilled...

Then i understand.

Only when theyre kept apart..

Romeos and their missing of juliet..

Juliets and their passions for romeos.

In this i would be a hypocrite to judge.

a lyer

to say i dont sympathize.

The kind that keeps them up at night

because they simply want to spend

more time with 'their delicate flowers'.

Its all the most beautiful..

I long for, envy the first kind...

Yet, would for nothing if somehow attained,

trade the second.

Maybe true love is both.

You start off longing for them..

Being pained at their radiant smile,

missing their lullabies every night...

but eventually, either move on,

or you finally get what you want (which also throws many off and makes them
stop feeling as well sadly)

and you have cried for for so long,

transcend the childish degrees,

and just feel contented.

Given their lullaby eternally.

Given their smile..

Graced with the love you were meant to til the end.
