Out of the Ordinary
I can’t remember the light --
Moon took me by surprise.
I hear the chord strike slow vision,
Beneath the hum of the day.
I will make it another day
Through the epiphany of the ordinary.
From Plainsong
To Jimi Hendrix
Between the notes
The lights went on
Went off
That wind is
Blowing in my heart
I can’t hear the dark
Settling
Title has a double meaning.
I don't know about the title, but the poem itself is nicely done Pete.

aw comeon, Les. Every day is extraordinary and each day come directly from the ordinary, so in both way, my day is 'out of the ordinary' when I make it through the day. I do feel that this afternoon, that I am lucky to be alive, etc.
or is it that you don't think the title fits the poem?
cheers,
Peter
Peter, I get the title, but it could be attached to most of your work, n'est-ce pas? That is to say I think the title is not specific enough.

Les,
I have no idea why I am such a dummy.
and thanks, I guess...I think you may be right about the lack of specificity.

Well I know wherever you went it joined with you to create
a gem I'll carry around witih me like a compass. It will be
my Chittikuk Wampum and I will travel the darkness of the forest
wrapped in its protective, medicinal magic and I will be the only
one in the four great tribes with such a buffere against confusion. tom

glad to be back to
witness tom's bright eyes
by the path
or beyond the camp
