the fallen infallible

anyone can write a poem; anyone can lie.
Here's mine.

She shakes, I stir
Awake to do whatever it takes
for my arms to be wrapped around her.

Does she need to know?
but of course, she already does

No reason not to take it slow...
I've already fallen in love

emm,

I read the collection: like much of it. Every lover, including myself, is wrapped up in the significance of her/his love. that's ok. saying it in an interesting way in a way that is interesting to other people, sometimes that is poetry.

I am happy you are sharing these with us.

avanti and amo,

Peter

Thank you! I'm surprised you gave me that much credit for them as these were often done from start to finish without idling my pen.. I just hoped I wasn't "littering" the site with my scribbles as I really respect everyone's work on here often much, much more than my own.

listen, emm.

That is exactly how I write my poetry 98.7% of the time. The rest of the time I say I am 'composing.' As far as I am concerned, whatever way we have that gets us to the poetry in our lives is ok...no matter what the 'experts' tell us.

Keeep on scribbling,

avanti,

Peter

I love how this ends but is abrupt and quick like falling for someone.
