I know nothing of poetry, thus what follows are a couple of stray verses, I don't even know whether they're mine:
You leave and go, you are an ark
you look in front of you, your own sea
blaze and icecaps.
But even further it'll always stand
your return, it survives the gale.
You leave, where do you go, what do you believe
what do you chase, what soil wants you
which identity do you seek?
Everything is here and everything forever
every journey is a return.
You leave and go, where do you return
in which land your migration is all you have?
And everything is here and everything forever
and further from you is only your own self
You beget the sea
You build your ark
you are the here, you are the elsewhere
you are the celebration of your return
you are the tear of the seperation
And you are your own journey
you are the wave, you are the island
you are the air, you are your farewell
You leave and go, where do you travel
roads open, your boarders are where you last.
Everything is elsewhere and everything's but a brief moment
when you don't know that you are your own path
Nicely done, SF. Welcome to the mule.
