Last Thought
Scraping grime from my timer
I realize – every surface of my life
Has traces of the world passing by.
Hopefully, it's not the "last" thought, but I can relate very well to this, Peter. On a certain level, I'm contented that each day is what it is, but on some other level, it seems that time passes a bit too nonchalantly, nearly wastefully. One year slips very easily into five, which doubles very nicely into ten...and what of it? I liked reading this one, Peter, because there's some consolation in knowing these thoughts are shared by others.

Good one, Peter, layers upon layers.

Thanks, kids.

Well, if you're dying, good luck. That aside, I enjoy the directness, the lack of ambiguity. Function rather than form, I might wager.
P.,
