Sent a friend to the mule... He pulled up Yahoo Search Engine,
he reports, 'The search on Yahoo has a waring on menu to e-mule:
"WARNING DANGEROUS DOWNLOADS"
When you go to search on the mule, there is no such warning.

Mitten, I did a search and got no such message. Probably a hoax, don't worry about it. [www.emule.com] />
A more serious concern is the tacky formatting which was not fixed after the latest hacking attack.
Les
Les,
The messed up formatting is an immediate concern to anyone trying to post poems. For now, poems have to have < pre> in the line preceding the title and < /pre> after the last line of the posting [leaving out the space after <] in order to retain the author's intended formatting, but...
I disagree with you, Les. The hacking has left an insidious prospect for anyone using the forum that unwanted stuff may be downloaded onto the user's computer when accessing the forum. I think that is a major concern for most of us and should be addressed by the forum administrators.
best,
Peter
I reported my last posting to the administrators to see if that will get their attention to the formatting and the downloading problems. They have not responded to previous reporting of the formatting problem, obviously.
amo,
Peter
Peter, I tried reporting a message also. The administrators are not monitoring the website to my knowledge. I've tried e-mailing them to no avail.
But the specific idea of not being able to use the search feature does NOT seem to be a concern. Nor is downloading your old poems.
Les
Les,
We can search old poems, etc., but they appear without the formatting for the time being. both repugnant and interesting, since the formatting does seem to count aesthetically, but stripping pieces of that aspect lays bear an interesting view of what we have said...if we take it as prose statement, which no self-respecting poet would accept as sufficient. I was actually referring to some of the stuff that ends up on my computer which I do not intend to download...ads, etc.
amo,
Peter
