Hello, all. I am new to this forum and wondering how it works. I would like some feedback on some of my poems. Do I just post here? Thanks for any help in getting started.

Just post 'em. Some people will comment. We all enjoy reading new stuff. Welcome,

Peter

We like it better than reading our own stuff, cause we are pretty tired of ourselves, ain't we Pete?

Bienvenidos

ayup.

btw, sheziff, It seems the postings of poems with the lines in the shape you want them requires special formatting in order to retain their formatting. If you place < pre> line before your poem and < /pre> a line after it, the poem will appear as you typed it. Just leave the space out after <. Otherwise the forum shows your poems sentence after sentence without line endings, as if they were prose. Try it and see what happens.

amo,

Peter

There once was a girl from Galway
Who took her beau to the hallway
Where she kissed his red brow
And said she'd milk his cow
If the lines would be fine most alway
