Strange Notes
cold egg breakfast
antiwar songs
classless...outrage
pathos down on the hill
strange pains
strange places
burning forearms
a day late
and a dollar short
...
Today I visited ...
after I sorted ...
a bag of ...
I forget where it is
I can’t remember the light --
Moon took me by surprise.
I hear the chord strike slow vision,
Beneath the hum of the day.
I will make it another day
Through the epiphany of the ordinary.
“... on the scene.
What's good or bad doesn't matter to me;
what does matter is feeling and not feeling.
... You've got to know much more
than just the technicalities of notes;
you've got to know
what goes between the notes. “
Jimi Hendrix
Between the notes
The lights went on
Went off
That wind is
Blowing in my heart
I can’t hear the dark
Settling
Anymore.

This is an interesting piece, Peter. Nature/God sometimes reminds us of our mortality and our inherent tendencies to not see the whole picture.
What I take from this is that the world is infinite, we are finite and what lies between the notes defines the rest.
By the way I did read your other poem, but I don't really know what to say about it.

That's cool. That's always alright, to not know what to say about something. Thanks for acknowledging it, though, Les. I like what your take is on this one, also. Some days, I'm just struggling with my human thing, watching guitar music or not.
