Poem to ‘Time’
Triangle box is empty
Blank pages silent
So I must speak to morning
Turn your color on
I kept coins in my pocket
Music in the wind
Electricity in the kitchen
Echoes in my dream
We lived the dream
Slept retrieval
Always came back to the beginning
I gave her her own
She knew the magic
Came with some witness
Dancing through mist
Thinking it was fog
I tremble turn and sigh
Hold the hands of the clock
Give memory back
Tie myself to a tree by the river
Tracking flashing pictures
Of sinking heads fading tones
Taking the melody
Of who knew where we were then
Take a chance on the fall
Go out into the night
Follow the candle
Shadows sing out

pete, I like the way you look back in time without becoming nostalgic. A good read.

I'm just messing
with the html tags.
Checking out how the
line breaks go.
Ignore this post.

Well a wild spirited kid that's all I can say
Thanks for all three responses, and, yes Les, it's ok if you mess with my texts...I might learn something.
amo to all,
