You’re occasionally Godlike

Possess two faces
uphold your promises:

"My tears will never
flood your bed again"

A rainbow appeared to remind me of this truth
The indigo was missing, so I wrote a poem:

"i left myself with you
and flew out the door

clipped wings - iron bits
slowed me to a sprawl

my knocking is slow
as a rainbow - let me

in green - there is
yet never was an indigo"

How you can never stop being you.
That non-eternal substance abuse

Of the few, the pedestal of the constant
you climb up and through, whilst

Balancing - bleeding on time, with
the skill of learning - nothing new.

And you’re always right, neither
arbitrary or capricious in flight

Just right, on time.
So when my Yuka withered

I thought of you and your mother:
Ceres and Proserpine.

This should consist of 12 couplets, can't seem to get the formatting right! Hasn't happened before, is there something wrong?
