Ted Williams Remains in Scottsdale, Arizona

Somewhere the other side other the moon
My childhood lives beyond alteration.
Imagination is the world of possibility -
Take a slice of the forest before you enter the water.

Immersion in this world
Is the challenge against all stasis,
All ruin, all deception –

Take one step away
And never give up on who you were
Before your dreams
Wavered.

My childhood lives beyond alteration.

So does mine. Thank God for that, eh, Peter?

Joe

Oh, and Willie Mays still plays stickball on 155th Street after day games at the Polo Grounds.

A good read, Peter. I enjoyed this one.
