You’ll be turning
Heads making them cough
Then you’ll make me go
Back to Bed
Bath and Beyond
With a card
That gives 10% off
Good one, Johnny though I'd rather not cut my hair.

Thanks Les

I wonder if that would qualify this as a sound poem.

They didn't say it to a waltz beat though
Sagamore Hill was the home of Theodore Roosevelt, 26th President of the United States, from 1885 until his death in 1919. During Roosevelt's time in office, his "Summer White House" was the focus of international attention. Otherwise, it was the home of a most remarkable fellow and his interesting family.

Sagamore Hill is about 15 miles from where I am right now, Peter, and the luxors reference is an inside joke, the fellow who I overheard say stanza 2 posted that on Facebook, even though he was at home at the time, he blamed his phone for the bogus info....ha...likely story !
I can't speak for anybody else, but it hits home in an almost scary way.
Life in America, the short version.
Nice piece.
