Should I try, forgive them
They know not what they do
With grandiose and self made plans
They muddy up the view.
Should I keep it quiet
Put down the sword of truth,
Ignore the one bad actor
The likes of John "yikes" Booth?
Should I play the martyr,
Forego the bad for good?
Or should I tell the story
As only a martyr could?
Is it worth the bending
To bow as low as they,
To speak in desperation
With a story to convey?
Or should I stand in silence
And pray the curtain falls
In a way that sheds the light,
Through cracks within their walls?
I like this one Mary, good job with the meter, too.

Thanks, Les, it's not my favorite, but it does stretch the unused poetic tendons, ligaments, and uh..vocal chords.
