Nicely done, Tom. I enjoyed this one.
Les
Thanks again Les. I always end up writing a satirical ditty when
I happen to catch Limbaugh on the car radio. LOL. He will bring,
singlehandedly, the Grand Old Party down. The 21 percent who call
themselves Republicans are the same 21 per cent who call Rush God. lol
Thank you so much. tom
Tom,
You're full of crap. I am a Republican, have been since the sixties. Would have voted for Kennedy, (John), but wasn't quite old enough. I consider Rush to be a poor entertainer. Somewhat smarter than Huffington, and NBC, but still not in line for a phd from MIT. Most of the people I call friend agree with me on both counts.
Before you guys count us out, remember what the Jackass party looked like in 1980.
Oh, wait, I was mistaken, this was not for me, I am not a neo-con, I am a long time con. as it were... And I will die before I become a liberal.
The poem is nicely done. Usually is from you, but, don't get to thinking that you have all the answers, and DO NOT adopt a superior attitude to us poor 21% cons. Unless you want to fight.
right Pete?
Seems most of the fighting Merc is between the republicans and the republicans so I certainly wouldn't want to join in the civil war. But you sure do express what the poem meant far better than the poem so I do thank you for the added touch of class. Now I will go take a crap to lighten my fullness. Thanks Merc.
right Rush?

Tom, Here's my response to Terry on my thread. It pertains to how much space you take on the board.
amo,
Peter
Merc,
re: Tom pushing people off. I figure he's old enough to be able to know that he is doing that and that it is not fair to all those who only post once in a while. I guess, Terry, that your mentioning to me is sufficient to motivate me to say something to him. As an anarchist, I'm sure you know how much I hate being anyone else's cop or daddy or conscience, but I will take on the task.
Thanks for stopping by to read the poem.
amo,
Peter
