The predeterminists did their damage too in Salem years ago...That God is One with one almighty plan.

Perhaps we will survive that particular madness, Tom.

This piece was tough to write, I think, becuase it could have, but didn't, tip into pure rant.

Be well,

Peter

2000 years ago, Jesus said "love one another" and since then, people have been killing each other over exactly what he meant by that

Thank you Peter. Glad it didn't dip into that all
to easily achieved rant. You are so correct; it is
hard to walk the line. tom

Thank you JohnnyBoy. Your words say it all and say
it with sublime perfection my friend. tom

Hello 'redmitten' and thanks for the read by and comment.

If God is out there somewhere with a thought,
He's now aware of just how much I hate
That first act of hypocrisy He wrought;
A Universe created left to fate.

I hope it is fixed. Forgot the 'out there' 'SOMEwhere'....
Thanks for the heads up redmitten. Most appreciated. Take care
and thanks again for your time. tom

Dear Tom,
Do excuse me for being picky. I have trouble trying to figure out the meaning of these lines:

I prayed with Saints but then I met the fraud,
Whose buried just inside God's final fall.

Do you mean "the fraud" who has "buried" what is "just"? or who is "buried"? or "whose buried just" is "inside God's final fall? Using "whose" is not leading me anywhere!

In addition, in this line:

The tension in dissension sin so clear.

is "sin" used as a noun or a verb? and accrdingly, what's the intention in terms of meaning?

However, overall, I enjoyed the read, but more than that, I do see God as unique in every single person's eyes. and although my god is not yours, our humanity should be harmonious. No god I believe in would "praise" killing, even human gods!

K.Q.

The fraud is part of my tradition and my traditions vary
somewhat from King James or Vulgate and tend toward Gnostic
dissent. LOL. "Dissention sin" is both an active sin of dissent
or verb and a simple subject of "sin" or noun. There is always tension
in dissent especially in the Church history. Thank you again for
a great crit because I have to think. That is always hard for me. LOL. tom

i don't see it as fate, i see it as choice, as in free will. what a grand gift-this; i don't see it as a gift soaked in hypocrisy. there is a difference to be loved as a result of design than to be loved by result of choice. it's not what a person does but why they do it that counts.

Hi again redmitten.
The first canard is "choice" and the second is the "free-will" canard used to give validation gravitas and credence to the first. But, meaningless and contradictory assignments of language like this fit nicely into the "creationist" dynamic which is the third canard which allows the other two a rhetorical existence if not a substantial existence. One can say man, generic man, does share a long-term addiction to factually diverse and totally unproven metaphysical mythologies that place man in a sentient category always superior to all other sentient categories. Yet,also place man still below and subserviant to the singularity mythology of esoteric God. Shared assumptions are vitally indespensible for some conversations to even begin. easy
