Funny story.

I'm fucked. The place I'm staying at is likely to change into unfriendly hands very soon, I have no work, no money, nothing. I'm checking everywhere, no matter how slim the chance, for a place to pick myself up from. Need a place to stay, happy to work for room and board. Emmm, the sorted details, including those that don't show me in the best light, are at the disposal of all who consider this. I don't expect any offer from anyone, just finding my options. No, I'm not joking. Aside from general information on this, I will discuss details including my personal information in private messages.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If not, I could maybe use you on the Mexican ranch.

Not unlike traffic violations count. Speeding, no seat belt, and running a stop sign.

If you want me to, I'll check the immigration things.... Right now a lot of Mexican citizens are staying in country and so unemployment is going up and they have smarter laws than we do. May not be legal to hire you.
It would be non cowboy work, some of it hard physical, 10 hrs a day 4 a week, Mexi average labor wage, room and board. No drugs, you can stay 179 days and have to enter the US for 48 hrs, until you've been there for three sessions, then you can stay for six and one half years. 150 miles south of Columbus NM. Spanish a real plus, but if not, you will be fluent in a couple of months. That's how I learned the language. (couse I was 22)

Appreciate it. Though I'm adaptable, climate is important to me, I greatly prefer cold. As such I'll be searching for other options first, which I have to wait a few days to a few weeks to get info on, can't be certain at the moment. No Spanish, no drugs, no problem with labor, much less that small amount of it. So yes, I'd appreciate your getting that info but there's no immediate rush atm.

Emmm, I hope you're in charge? I assume the US bit is to maintain my citizenship? Should this be undertaken and turn out not to be to my liking, I commit to repaying your efforts before parting.

US stuff, yes, you will become a reverse immigrant. Don't fret the Spanish. You will learn it.
I am in charge, but usually long distance. I get there about three days a week until May, then I get back in November.
Pepe is the foreman, he is a life long cowboy (vaquero), he speaks better English than I do. I'll check. letcha know

note from my journal for the day:

We live in a world
where two men
can treat each other badly
long enough
long distance,
until when one expresses
real need,
the other offers
real help.

Given that,
my nihilism goes
into abeyance.

Not worried about the language. I'll tell ya when I know anything about my other options.

Peter,

The world will be a much better place when people treat disagreement as only that.

I will look. It will be warm year round.
I called my fishing captain in Alaska today, I wasn't sure when the season started. However, he has a full crew.

Hey, I have collected a few dollars, doing mostly black stuff. I am willing to help anyone willing to work for it.

No, no, the heat is fine. Just making the point that should more suitable options present themselves and such. I'd sooner sweat than starve. As to Alaska, I've been there, in all likelihood I could get on a boat or in a cannery, but I'd have to be on deaths door before I have any desire to return.

Plus, you interest me Merc. Some people collect art, other weapons, I collect psychologies in hopes of finding insight into my own. As I've said recently, you are rare. Though I feel, as a potential employee, such comments are no longer my place. So I'll leave that be unless otherwise requested.

Mr. P, what part of the country are you in right now? I have a friend in PA who might let you crash for awhile if worse gets to worse. I'm not in PA but you said you liked the cold and it gets plenty cold there. As for work, you'd have to find something. I'll check in to this if you want. lemme know.frost42_24@yahoo.com

I'm not around here much lately so if interested, email me.

Well thank you, I'm afraid I'm not in that area, but I'll keep it in mind.

I've just acquired a certain and viable option, barring extremely unforeseen circumstance I am now set. Merc, Frost, your kindness will be remembered.

Mr. P,
i haven't been around here too much but I was sad to see the post about your situation and glad to see this one. I hope your plans do work out and such a situation does not find you again very soon.

Ah, well, truth of the matter is I can't complain. Things may have been tough, but they gave me the most important thing in my life.
