I've never understood
how when there's plenty of food
people go hungry
or why there's unlimited love
but people still feel isolated
with so much potential
humanity stumbles
time and again and
only after suffering a great fall,
strives to find a little redemption
we are amidst such a time
when the toils of our fears
and the mongering of insecurities
manifests our inner desire
to overcome it all
inspired by a mighty maker
we are resilient and despite the odds
enough are determined and willing
to pull the weight for the rest
moving mountains, moving souls, moving ahead
Distribution problems.
Had Socrates not taken his own life, he would have been executed by his own people.
Had Thomas Edison not invented the incadensent light bulb, we would have to watch television by candlelight.
Had I not posted this poorly written poem, nobody would be commenting...hehe. Thanks for reading just the same.
