Written Late November.
It's silly and it's true
I wish I was still up there with you.
Memories of laughs outside under a half moon
leave me looking down in full swoon.
Maybe I'll be over the river for the so called Noel,
but I wouldn't bet on it- which you know so well.
Days of forgotten innocent laughs
left with the absence of a home room class.
Maybe I'll find a friend once again after this
that is if you take the time to reminisce:
Club Fathom in the nighttime
Lies to my mother on a dime
4AM Wafflehouse food to devour
Coffee at the appointed hour
Driving back from a show with smiles
Comparing our different styles
Needed neutrality at an Olive Garden
This was all before the masses hearts did harden.
It's sad and it's true
I wish I was still home with you
