All Things Change
Look into the rain drop
On the window pane
Wind entangled with doubt
European clock stuck on itself
Come back again.
The arrogance of morning
Waiting for clouds to go by:
Turn away – the changed forms –
Angels playing dice with our souls.
Lintel broken by evening traffic
Too many fables
Looking for the sun
On its shortest day.
Very tight and concise, Peter. I like how the words and the message sort of double up or play upon each other. Enjoyed.
Mary
Thanks, Mary.
I never know where that ole muse is going to lead me. Glad you enjoyed this one.
Peter
There are some good lines here, Peter, I especially liked these:
The arrogance of morning
Waiting for clouds to go by
Les
Les,
I'm always wondering how I am going to feel the next time I open my eyes...coming out of the darkness.
Thanks for visiting,
Peter
