It may be imposing but how old are you guys? (Peter, les, anyone else)
-with love
I was born December 22, 1944, the Winter Solstice, just like Rene Descartes ears before.
What is the most important thing I should know the answer to about you, Fickled?
btw, don't forget larkinabout. We all need to know how old he is.

Please excuse me if this came off as overly intrusive or irrelevant, which it probably is. I estimated correctly for your age, peter. The way you speak is obviously more traditional and elegant than that of the widdled down populous of today. Keep in mind that this was strictly curiosity, but I appreciate the subtle counter whether it was meant to maim or not. And I really enjoyed the sprinkle of sarcasm I sensed in "needing to know" larkinabout's age. Well played.
On the note of your question, ask anything you'd like to. I can't imagine what would be "most important" and am curious as to what you'd like to know, or what you think could be "most important". (I couldn't tell if there was sarcasm there, because I did most definitely not intend to ask this question with much importance).
Either way, I might as well come clean and say I am 18. (As a side note,ps, or whatever you'd wanna call this mushroom cloud of a response.) Something tells me you most likely have guessed the ages of many users, and if that thought has crossed your mind reguarding me, it'd most likely have been correct.
Thanks for satisfying my ever growing curiosity, and as always,

Ha!
I'm 32 and have been for some years now.
Kris,
Me dad was 39 years old for 24 years, in the tradition of Jack Benny.
Fickled,
p.s. I don't actually speculate about people's ages, since I have embarrassed [sic:embraced] being whatever age I have ever been while I was that age. btw, the ages of my personal friends ranges from the late teens to the late 80s. So age is no bar to worthiness in my eyes.
Hope you didn't mind my teasing a little. I do have a weird sense of humor and am also glad when I get caught.
amo et avanti,
Peter

I'm over 60, but still not as old as Terry, or Pete. (lol) Age after all, is just a state of mind, just ask Johnny Sans.
Les
@larkinabout: sounds like the talk of a vampire...haha.
@peter: most people prematurely judge every age group but the one they are currently in, and i appreciate your not discriminating. its a rare trait. also, its sometimes hard to sense sarcasm through text, but yours shines through like sunlight through an empty window.
@les: wonderful. I would've guessed you to be in your 40's considering the vibrance in your past posts.
@everyone: this made me feel both young and more insignifcant. thanks, all.
p.s. age really does not mean much. If this site has taught me anything, its that the ability to feel and write does not only come from natural ability or a yearning to express oneself through written word, but from experience as well. that is the one thing that can be made in the name of progress of one's soul, and in turn, their poetry. again, thanks.
However, regretfully, im no longer going to post on this site, but will remember all that i have read as gifts and beautiful prose. Im lucky to have found this site. Ciao.

OH, but i might happen upon it again someday simply to read your future works, because, again, they are really quite good. i will simply no longer post, but dont feel that is a tough loss, because in comparison to say, Peter's poetry, mine is crude, inarticulate. Best wishes.

what a loss for all of us not to have the opportunity to witness your fine craftsmanship develop and mature as we have watched each other over the last ten years that I have been here
