walking through today i see the same light borrowed in my pupils, the same face look away as they used to know, locked with expression's way as though some betrayal is mine by not saying hello, or missing a glance in the halls that time one year ago,

and i see the same moody blue sky that mimics me, cuz mood and color are entwined like two lovers' selves as blazed blues in a scorching flame, perfourous reds on a sunsets shadow walking away from us, and jet blacks blurring into color to form my soul, and the same murmur of white noise that engraves our youth, and the same voice pound and preach the song of "progress" to the body. and the same vile firing affection to the covets of beauty, dazing them with blinding thunder....and deluge knocks heavy in misted pressure against me. a thousand pounds of water vaporized and thrown, mocking prayer is the impish thistle of self satisfaction sitting there, laughing, waiting for prides sleepy guard to do the inevitable, letting the beast free, and he is drugged and sleeping

and i hear a florid remorse in my heartbeat, gentle rythms off cue, and....somehow im still floating airily in possibility, picturesque happiness in my mind, and a beaten soul in the mirror.

-with love
