"Two Treaties" ... I am interested in finding out more how this 'piece' was an influence and/or copied too the Decleration of Independence written by Thomas Jefferson.
In depth analysis perhaps from each piece that would coincide together?
With my regards,
Geoff
Geoff,
You are not the first person to notice the similarity.
All you need to do is search on-line for ["john locke" = "declaration of independence"] and you will find things like these:

Most of the concepts in our Declaration of Independence come from French philosophy. I did a school report on it years ago and able to identify at least ten concepts that French philosophers debated, perhaps more. Our Dec' Ind' was essentially based on French philosophy, and there are a few concepts of English origin as well. Our Founding Fathers were certainly not 'rednecks', but well read, and worldly. Yes, and they were determined not to re-invent the wheel. Improve on it, if possible, by building on the best philosophy available.
"Tom Jefferson stayed up to write
The Declaration late at night
So he and his wife had a great big fight
And she made him sleep on the couch all night"

Tom Jefferson loved recreation

We've heard, with some hisses,
They were Mr and miscegenation.
The declaration of independence should have never ever been written at all.It has ruiened the world and continues to do so.Why didnt the english army win the war? We all wish with great hope strength and negitivity that they did.
For all the things the constituion did to the rest of the world.
In the Declaration od independence it says no trading over seas. And all men are created equal. It is one of the biggest documents of the USA government.
The USA totally contridicted this document by having slaves saying black people are less than white people there for they believe all men are not created equal and they believe in a higher person.
I believe the king was right when he said there is to be no over seas trading. To them its the world trade center that torchers people that dont look like white people into doing all their work for them them because they are less than them.
This messes up their whol point of view that all men are created equal therefore the declaration of independence should not continue to hold any power over the USA that means that they believe that other people are created higher than other people that means they believe that kings and queens are a higher power than the people of the USA.
I still think the British threw the Revolutionary War so they could get better draft picks
figured you could all use a good Laughayette
