I see the Google ads above this post, are advertising tickets for the "Lennon" play. Has anyone seen it yet? Is it worth what they're charging for admission?
Les
Have not seen it yet, but Spamalot is worth twice the price of admission

The reviews I've heard are that it's pretty poor. According to today's LA Times, it's being reworked.
'Lennon' will be retooled
April 26, 2022
Don Shirley
QUICK TAKES: Producers of the Broadway-bound "Lennon" have scratched a scheduled Boston tryout in the wake of discouraging reviews from the show's first tryout in San Francisco. The Yoko Ono-blessed musical features more than 20 of the late Beatle's songs.

Thanks for the info. Some friends of mine have tickets for a special preview show in Fresno and that's why I was asking.
I've read some negative stuff about it also. According to a reviewer for the Contra Costa Times, his headline read: "Imagine...something awful."

Best advice, and this holds true for plays and movies
expect nothing maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised
When we were in London last month we went to see "Saturday Night Fever". Wow! It was fantastic! You can't escape American culture, though.
"Ringo" the Musical would probably be a lot more fun !
BTW, it's his and Barbara Bach's 24th wedding anniversary today
Pam, here is some corroboration to your post above:

Lenin, the musical further notes:
"Marching to Siberia"
"Bowling with a Bolshevik"
"Beefing with the Romanovs"
"I told you Communism would outlast the highly inferior capitalist way of life because the equality of opportunity will prevail here and throughout the world. There is no room for Yankee dictators who strive to suppress the will of the people throughout the world. Even in China they are seeing how our system of sharing opportunity in communal efforts is succeeding beyond our wildest imagination, and the future looks bright for emerging nations who surely will see no need for the burgeoning load imposed on them by Imperialist rulers whose only aim is to suppress the true desires of the people." *(This is just the title.)

"The dancers control the means of production"
