Is this really by Robert Frost?

From "The penguin book of Limericks"

For travallers going sidereal,
The danger, they say, is bacterial.
I don't know the pattern
On Mars, or on Saturn
But on Venus it must be venereal.

Robert Frost.

I have also seen it (mis)spelled "travellors", still attributed to RLF, his only limerick as far as I know. I don't have the Penguin to hand, so I cannot verify which spelling they use.

I do have the penguin to hand. My misspelling through typing one handed while trying to hold a thick paperback open with the other. They use "travellers"

I bought the book yesterday.

There was a gent named Tony Davie, from St Andrews School in Scotland, who had amassed a huge collection of limericks, that he kept posted on the internet. He passed away recently, and his son(s) did not care to carry on the job, but they were luckily downloaded before disappearing by a gent from Australia and stored here:

I also have a copy of them all on my hard drive, which is where I went to research your question. Travellors appears in my copy and Archie's:

Looks like Tony Davie must have copied it wrong, as his 'EOP' note refers to the Penguin edition you have.
