I'm trying to find a good verse or line of a poem for my wedding invitations. I'm currently considering the last portion of e.e. cumming's "i carry your heart," which I think is lovely and I have always been fond of cummings in general.

I'm wondering:
1. if there are any other suggested poems/poets for my pursuits and
2. if there are any specific thoughts on using "i carry your heart."

It's a personal choice - it's your wedding, have whatever appeals to you. The only slight disadvantage to using a cummings quote is his lack of capital letters which traditionalists might think looks a bit odd among all the capitalised names etc on a traditional wedding invitation (esp if you pick a bit with "i" in it). You could do a cummings-style invitation and use lower case throughout, or put the quote in italics or a different font.
