Dickinson - Unpublished poem

Can anyone give comments on the following Unpublished Dickinson Poem? Is this hers or not? I think not but need some "expert" opinions.

That God cannot
be understood
Everyone Agrees
We do not know
His motives nor
Comprehend his
Deeds

Then why should I
Seek solace in
What I cannot
Know?
Better to pray
In winter's sun
Than to fear the
Snow.

well, it CAN be sung to The Yellow Rose of Texas, or the Gilligan's Island theme...but not very well....the meter is awkward,,,my guess iis that it is NOT

Weren't all of Emmy's pomes found in a chest at her house? If so, then they would all be known. I guess it could have been contained in a letter sent to, say, Susan Dickinson, but that would be doubtful as well. ED was devoutly religious, from what I recall, so the sentiments in the verse are also off base. Lastly, the format would have had to be:

That God cannot be (--) understood
Everyone agrees (--)
We do not know His (--) motives nor
Comprehend (H)is Deeds (--)

Then why should I seek (S)olace in (--)
What I cannot (--) know? (No Question mark - rhetorical)
Better to pray (--) in winter's Sun (--)
Than to fear the Snow.

Case dismissed. Next case, please step forward.

Jest, of course.

Weren't all of Emmy's pomes found in a chest at her house? If so, then they would all be known.

An odd break in logic, for one so reliable, usually. All is often a problem when faced with the experience of the world. There aer contigencies.

More from Emily:

Your cigarettes, do not dispose
in urinals tonight
it makes them very soggy and
it makes them hard to light

When using public toilet bowls
I squat above the seat
alas that does not work in here
the crabs can jump six feet
