Someone or something is conniving to keep me from posting this. I heard this poem read at a funeral today and would like to find it in print. I can not find it online. Has anyone information about it? Thank you.

God's Garden
God looked around his garden
and found an empty place
he then looked down upon the earth
and saw her tired face
he knew her road was getting rough
that the hills were too hard to climb
he knew she'd never get well on earth again
so he kissed her cheek
and held her in his arms
he closed her weary eyelids
then tenderly wispered "PEACE BE THINE"
and laid her down to rest
Gods garden must be beautiful
for he ONLY takes the best
however she didn't go alone
for a part of me went with her
the day god called her home!!!

This particular poem helped me get through the death of a VERY dear friend last year - I hope it has the same effect on you. Another helper was:
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there I do not sleep.
I am the thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripen grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning,
hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of
quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars in the sky at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not died.

God’s Garden
by Dorothy Frances Blomfield Gurney (1858-1932)
The Lord God planted a garden
In the first white days of the world,
And He set there an angel warden
In a garment of light enfurled.
So near to the peace of Heaven,
That the hawk might nest with the wren,
For there in the cool of the even
God walked with the first of men.
And I dream that these garden-closes
With their shade and their sun-flecked sod
And their lilies and bowers of roses,
Were laid by the hand of God.
The kiss of the sun for pardon,
The song of the birds for mirth,--
One is nearer God's heart in a garden
Than anywhere else on earth.
For He broke it for us in a garden
Under the olive-trees
Where the angel of strength was the warden
And the soul of the world found ease.
