Is it socially and logistically acceptable to do what I have done, posted a whole batch of hooey (6 and counting) but under ONE thread, so I don't knock anyone out?

thanks?

Johnny,
As far as I know, that is totally legit! Because you are posting under one thread, you are not monopolizing the board; therefore, you are being considerate of others, s'all good!

Johnny, the whole idea about limiting posts is that there are only 100 slots on the front page of the USP, if someone dumps 10 poems at the top of the board, 10 individuals get pushed to the second page. Most of us feel that this wouldn't be fair.

If, on the other hand, they post 10 poems on 1 post, that's ok because they're only using 1 space out of the 100 available.
