Please help me find as many words/phrases for "time marches on"
like "tempus fugit" time flies, or "time is the fire in which we all burn" ?

It's not that I don't have many thesaruses....I was just looking for some creative, poetic ways to phrase it...you know, the kind you can't find in a thesaurs.
The hours keep flowing like a river towards the sea.
Perhaps not what you had in mind, but this is what I think it could be!
1) Time continues. It has to. It cannot be stopped.
2) Time, our little footpad, follows and proceeds us.
3) Time drives on, neverending.
4) Time, like us, goes on. We cannot stop it.
That enough?
