It's not that I don't have many thesaruses....I was just looking for some creative, poetic ways to phrase it...you know, the kind you can't find in a thesaurs.

1) Time continues. It has to. It cannot be stopped.
2) Time, our little footpad, follows and proceeds us.
3) Time drives on, neverending.
4) Time, like us, goes on. We cannot stop it.

Thanks for sharing that one Glenda, it's been a long time since I've heard those words. It once was a favorite album of mine.

This line by Emily Dickinson struck a cord:

Very cute. Thanks to all you geniuses! Always know where to turn for strange ideas and advice like when you need a better thesaurus. I so appreciate the published things. Sorry I have not posted on my own thread you know how life gets....it marches on.
