A good way to reduce overlong URLs: go here -
[tinyurl.com] />

Thank you Stephen
At first, I thought Tinyurl was an Arthurian Castle
Thanks - I was wondering how that was done.
The down side is that you can't "read" the URL.
For example, if I'm looking for poems about rabbits, and someone suggests these sites:
www.bunnies-in-verse.com
www.harelinefracture.com
www.rabbitstew/recipe3.com
I can pretty much guess what I'm getting into.
I tried them all and got NOTHING !
There's 45 seconds of my life I'll never get back !
Be vewwy vewwy qwiet...I'm taking Pwozac
[www.canteach.ca] />
MUCH BETTER THAN THOSE BUM SITES YOU MENTIONED !
Marian, I don't think it matters that much. I'd much rather see this:
[tinyurl.com] />
Than this:

Good point, LG.
Marian, I have to admit it was disconterting for a while. Not knowing where you're going with the link. But you get used to it. It's like putting those little pointing things around a url for a hyperlink. Once you get used to it, it makes sense.

Or, there's
[snipurl.com] />
