There's some GREAT limericks in The Pearl.....I was amazed !

Sadly, I have not read it, and impossible to find in the library, no doubt. I blame Steinbeck (I sing the song of the morning) for stealing that title.

656 pages, cool! I will put it on my 'to purchase' list. I usually try to locate several titles to be ordered at the same time, saving on shipping charges, right.

If you dont already have it, may i recommend the Steinbeck King Arthur if you need to buy something else.

Johnny, which modernization of the Pearl did you find limericks in, or was it in th ME? Neither of mine (John Gardner and Gordon Hall Gerould) has anything other than 12 lines ababcdcdefef or ababababbcbc for the opening stanza. Maybe I'm thinking of another Pearl.
