Hello.

I'm reading the first book in the In Search Of Lost Time (The Way By Swanns) series - Proust. I love the story, and it is threatening to topple Isabel Acher from her pedestal, but aome of it is probably going over my head! If you asked me what the book is about, I'd probably have trouble telling you. Does anyone know where I can find an analysis on the internet?

Thanks.

Lucy.

Lucy, probably the most expeditious way to interpret what Proust is saying is to get one of the many "companion" books available. Go to your nearest public or college library and see if they have a copy of such a book. Even if they don't, they will probably know where you can find one.
