THE FRIENDSHIP OF YOUNG POETS.
There must have been more than just one of us,
But we never met. Each kept in his world of loss
The promise of literary days, the friendship
Of poets, mysterious, that sharing of books
And talking in whispers in crowded bars
Suspicious enough to be taken for love.
We never met. My youth was as private
As the bank at midnight, and in its safty
No talking behind backs, no one alike enough
To be pretentious with and quote lines at.
There is a boat on the river now, and
Two young men, one rowing, one reading aloud.
Their shirt sleeves fill with wind, and from the oars
Drop scales of perfect river like melting glass.

Aren't we lucky to have eMule?
It is, by far, the best and most relevant poetry site I have ever seen. Very professional and not too commercial
"I "Love Summer more than I hate Winter"
Strictly speaking, such a post violates an author's copyright if posted without permission. Still, I doubt there is much danger in doing so, since the poster is making no profit on it, and it merely serves to make the author more well known. Is Emule itself in danger of a lawsuit, since money is made on their ads? I doubt those pockets are deep enough to make such an option attractive either. Surely an apology combined with a promise not to repeat the infranction would placate the offended.
"one rowing, one reading aloud"
I love it. I want to use it as a title for something.
