The Guiterman is certainly deeper, though its title seems a missed opportunity. 'Poppas' Song' or 'Arthur's Song' would have been more subtle in the context.

Right you are. I once did a little spoonerism ditty on pippa passes, but that is another story. Snail's on the thorn - what a great line!
