On behalf of everyone on this forum, let me offer you condolences on your loss. I have two sisters and I really can't imagine life without them.

"The Goblin Market" by Christina Rossetti is about sisters and what they will do for each other in an emergency. (This poem is very special to me and my sisters.) You can read the whole poem at
[users.crocker.com] />
The last few lines go:

"For there is no friend like a sister,
In calm or stormy weather,
To cheer one on the tedious way,
To fetch one if one goes astray,
To lift one if one totters down,
To strengthen whilst one stands."

==========

You can go to www.bartleby.com, choose VERSE, and search there for "sister" and "sisters" -- perhaps one of those poems will be useful for you.

YOU MIGHT ALSO CONSIDER using a poem that isn't about sisters per se, but about something your sister loved--animals, reading, plants ... anything that you think of in connection with her.

Sisters are timeless treasures,
Always in stock
But you can't ship them from Africa
In a box.

Sisters are there for you,
Young or old
Sisters mean what they mean
Let the story unfold.

Sisters help you when you fall,
They carry you to the car
You'll never find another sister like yours
By far.

Sisters should be cherished,
They are a big piece of your heart
Sisterhood lasts forever
From whenever it starts.

Sisters sleep with you,
They cry when you cry
Sisters want to be there forever
And that‘s not a lie.

So be happy your sister is living,
God gave her health and love
So thank God, no need to worry
'Cause he's watching from up above.

You don't have to hope that sisters love you,
'Cause they already do
Hey, believe it or not,
You love your sister, too.

A sister is forever,
That is very true
You have a sister, cherish her,
Why don't you?

God made us sisters,
Our hearts made us friends.
Love keeps us bonded
Thru thick and thru thin.

Being family
Gives permanent ties,
For which I am grateful
To be in your life.

Though our paths may lead
Down separate roads,
God gave us each other
To help with the load.

God had a great plan,
As He always does.
Growing together
Was the best for us.

I can't imagine
My life without you.
Sisters are for keeps
And forever true.

Sisters are always there for you,
and no matter what they always care.
Sisters are there through thick and thin,
and everything in between.
Sisters protect you from the darkness,
and make the world full of happiness.
If you are sad and you feel like crying,
sisters are there with a hug to lend.
They are there to gossip with and laugh with,
and you may even utter the word 'sis'
Sisters are your strength when you are too weak,
they are your voice when you can't speak,
they are your crutch when you can't walk,
they are your shoulder when you need to cry,
they are your ear when you need a friend.
Sisters share a love with you
that no other could compare to
Sisters are your link to life,
they are the ones who stand beside you through the hurt and the pain, through
the tears and the rain.
I now know one thing,
Because of you, I will never be the same

I served the cake, you poured the tea, we built a house under the tree. In grown up clothes we played all parts, secrets told, we crossed our hearts.
Through all the years, the smiles and tears, first true loves and football cheers.
I've never found a friend so true, I'll love you Sis my whole life through.
