... but on this album I think it's performed in VIETNAMESE! I couldn't find a translation into English, but bear in mind that an English-language version might have a totally different title.
Jacques Larue also co-wrote several theme songs for French movies, and he wrote the words to "Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White," which was a hit for the Andrews Sisters, and recently "the Dutch orchestra, Polytour ... recorded song texts set to music by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. The texts were written in French in 1943-1945 by well-known lyricists such as Jacques Larue and Lawrence Riesner."
"Jacques Larue" was actually an ALIAS used by Marcel Argenon -- possibly to keep his "serious" work separate from his work for the movies and for pop singers. (I found that tidbit on a website for Peggy Lee, who recorded at least two songs with Schumann melodies.)
