I have moved this over from a redundant thread. Can anyone help?

can you tell me how to make spaces within a poem (using html)? Kind of like a paragraph space, not a line break.

On this site, the only way I have found to do it is with the html code (spaces shown to keep the program from zapping it as a real space) & n b s p
A real pain in the neck, right.
I've been using that string: [ & n b s p ; ] without spaces
to indent lines when posting poems; can't remember who
taught me that. The effect is thus:
In the bleak midwinter
Frosty wind made moan...
It's "a pain" but you only have to TYPE the string once; after that you can cut and paste it where you want it.
The only alternative I've found is to use periods, which DO show up but not too annoyingly:
. . . . In the bleak midwinter
. . . . Frosty wind made moan...
